"...It's a cracker!" So says What'sOnStage in their 4-Star Review of Giulio Cesare which finished on 17 March

Mar 22, 2018

Mark Valencia was full of praise for our 2018 production. Here are just a few extracts.

"Cast from strength and conducted by Dane Lam with dynamic elegance. Camarata Alma Viva...coloured Handel's rich score with verve, imagination and confident aplomb."

Marie Lys as Cleopatra: "...shimmered in the role, not just in her resplendent costumes but also through her vocal dexterity and care for characterisation..."

Helen Sherman gave: "...a powerfully wrought account of the title role. Her Cesare suffered, loved, was moved to anger and delivered to joy in a beautifully sustained performance."
